Day 7 - Salome, AZ to Wickenburg, AZ
Rural Arizona is a veritable cactus garden with a wide variety of cacti. Today’s featured cactus is the Prickly Pear.
The Bureau of Land Management, a federal government agency that is rather controversial out here, allows campers to “boondock” on BLM properties. Some boondockers stay longer than others and the types of camping accommodations vary greatly. This guy gives a whole new meaning to dry docking.
Tonight I find myself in Wickenburg, a prosperous and historic old west town that today prides itself on being the”Dude Ranch Capital of The World”.
Land yacht living. Lol.
